Former Ghana striker Tony Yeboah has been forced to come out to deny rumours circulating on Social Media that he is dead, insisting he is alive and well.
Reports emerged on social media and a US-based website that the Leeds cult hero had passed away in London after suffering multiple seizures.
The 51 year old made a video asking those spreading the falsehood to desist from it.
"You don’t have to use social media for such vices. I am not even sick so when I heard it, I was so surprised.
"My aunt saw it on social media and told me about. I want to assure all those who have been worried by the news that it is not true. I am alive."
