Ghanaian forward Ersenst Asante has disclosed his readiness to play for Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia the entirety of his career.

The forward has been in fine form for his side and says he wants to stay there for as long as possible.

Asante, 33, was struck down with a lengthy injury lay off and only returned recently and has been instrumental in his side's relegation fight.

He has thus far scored two goals for his side as they battle for survival in a relegation play offs in Cyprus.

The Ghanaian has made five appearances scoring two goals whiles providing two assists for his side.

Asante was recently named as his club's Player of the Month and he revealed that he wishes to play for Nicosia for the rest of his career.

"This is Wellman player of the month. I like to forget the past and look to the future. There is a lot to achieve ahead of me," he said.

“There is nothing behind me, I have to look forward, there is a lot to achieve ahead of me. I would like to live in Nicosia and I am living in Nicosia and I love Nicosia"
