Ghanaian boxing sensation Isaac Dogboe has now decided to pitch camp with acclaimed boxing trainer Freddy Roach after two set backs in his quest to rise on the boxing ladder.

The royal storm as Dogboe is affectionately called has for most part of his professional boxing career relied on his father Paul Dogboe as his trainer but upon two consecutive defeats and cries  from a section of the Ghanaian boxing populace Dogboe has decided to seek help from the reputable Freddie Roach.

Dogboe is looking to resurrect his flailing career after two consecutive defeats to Emanuel Navarrete which saw the Ghanaian losing his WBO title to Mexico’s Navarrete in the process.

In a video cited by ghanaguardian.com, the pair are seen in a gym where Roach tells Dogboe, " I will make you a champion the next Pacquaio" to which the religious Dogbe responded Amen.

Legendary Freddy Roach owns the Wildcard Boxing Club in Los Angeles where he trains Manny Pacquiao and thirteen others.

His client roster has included Oscar De la Hoya, James Toney, Mike Tyson, Michael Moorer, and Bernard Hopkins, among many others.

He has trained twenty-two world champions, was named Trainer of the Year in 2003 by the Boxing Writers of America and has been enshrined in the World Boxing Hall of Fame.
