Spokesperson for the Normalization Committee, Dan Kwaku Yeboah has lashed out at loud mouth journalist and officials who benefited from the largess of the Ministry of Youth and Sports resulting in the ballooning Afcon budget of $4.5million.

Dan Kwaku Yeboah who also doubles as a Sports Presenter with Accra based Peace Fm was speaking in a discussion with host of Peace Fm's morning show host Kwame Sefa Kayi.

The mouthpiece of the ad-hoc football governing body branded critics especially journalist  of the $4.5million Afcon budget as hippocrates since they benefited enormously from the budget.

The avid critic of erstwhile GFA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi claims when he was a freedom fighter under the Nyantakyi regime he never took cash gifts from him since he did not want to be fingered when he was criticizing him.

But now a baptized aficionado of the regime, he claims journalist who benefitted from per diems, accommodation, airplane tickets and other expenses do not have any moral right to criticize the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

He also confirmed that he received per diems but no winning bonus as its been speculated in the media.

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah told Parliament on Wednesday that the state spent $4,564,532.00 during the competition.

It covered the playing body, the technical team, additional technical staff, Members of the Parliament Select Committee on Youth and Sports and Culture and the Ghana League Clubs Association.

The remaining beneficiaries are the representatives of the Old Footballers Association, some staff of the Ghana Football Association, some staff of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, some members of the Ghana Supporters Union and journalists.
