Dancehall musician Grace Kaki Awo Ocansey popularly known as Kaakie has explained why she slammed rapper E.L in one of her latest songs titled “Time Up”.

In the song which is a response to MzVee's "Make I Shine", Kaakie jabbed MzVee and AK Songstress, and later took a subliminal shot at E.L calling him "Mummy's boy".

Explaining why she dissed E.L on Pulse TV, she first cleared that it wasn’t a diss but ‘was just a name calling’.

“He hasn’t done anything to me. That’s why I called him names such as ‘mummy’s boy’,” said Kaakie.

She continued “Because, in almost all his songs, he calls on his mum. An example is when M.anifest and Sarkodie beef started. Instead of responding, he called on his mum. So I just thought it was a funny name.”

Kaakie also admitted that “Time Up” was a direct diss at MzVee and AK Songstress.

“’Time Up’ was directed at MzVee because of her track ‘Make I Shine’ (featuring E.L), and AK Songstress,” she added.
