Ghana and Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus was on the scoresheet for Ajax in their second pre-season friendly game against lower tier side Quick 20.

The player was named in coach Erik ten Haag's starting line up after missing his side's first pre-season friendly game.

Kudus scored the first goal of the match on the stroke of half time as he was assisted with a pass from defender Rio Hillen.

He played on 45 minutes as he was replaced by Ivorian striker Sebastian Haller for the remaining 45 minutes.

The Ghanaian midfielder joined Ajax last summer from Denmark side FC Nordsjaelland for a record transfer fee but after a fine start he was struck down by an injury in October in a Champions League match against Liverpool which ruled him out until around March 2021.

He helped the Dutch giants win the Eredivisie and also the Dutch cup after beating Vitesse Arnhem 2-1.

The talented Ghanaian midfielder will be hoping for an injury free 2021/2022 season.
