Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has passed his medical examination with Algerian giants USM Algers.

The new USM Algers striker was taken through rigorous medical and physical tests on Monday at various health facilities and the player came out with a clean bill of health.

He will now join his new teammates after the Algerian giants announced his signing on the 15th March,2021.

But before that he will be officially unveiled to the fans and press men in Algerian later this morning.

Kwame Opoku spent just a season with Asante Kotoko playing on the first round of the Ghana Premier League scoring 9 goals in all competitions in 16 matches.

He has signed a four and half year contract with the Algerian giants in a deal said to be worth $500,000.

Opoku joined Asante Kotoko from lower tier side Nkoranza Warriors in the 2019/2020 season but it was truncated.

During the last two AFCON 2021 qualifiers he was handed a call up and started in Ghana's 1-1 drawn game with South Africa.
