Every parent will be livid at losing a child talk of your child dying in your own house that is your swimming pool drowning your child.
That is exactly what happened to Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’Banj, when last year on June 24 his 13-month-old son, Daniel Oyebanjo , died through a terrible circumstance in his Ikoyi mansion in Nigeria.
According to the Coco must God has restored him as he expects his wife to deliver in the coming months.
He revealed this in an interview with a U.K based Beat 106.3fm where he described the last year as difficult and trying for himself and his family.
"First I wana thank everyone out there that has supported me but the truth is that in all things we must give thanks to God
"More importantly I believe that is God that granted me the grace and mercy that myself and my wife have been able to here today absolutely smiles."
"Its not something you wish on your worst enemy even if you have any but to lose a child is not something you think about and its not something I thought about"
"This was one that broke me it just took the grace of God...I went to therapy once but that is not my style..I am happy that in over time I have been able to channel that into my music. I know you have not heard any of them yet"
He went ahead to declare the big news "the most important thing I prayed and believed was restoration I'm happy to announce that in a few months time I'm going to be a father."Dbanj declared.
He has won several music awards, including the awards for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009,Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards.
He was once signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music record label after a chance meeting between the pair at Dubai airport in 2010.
