A man has died after an apparent fall from the Dimples overpass onto the N1 Highway near the Achimota Roundabout in Accra on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident, which happened close to the MultiChoice Ghana office, shocked motorists and passersby. It is not yet known what led to the man’s fall.

Witnesses said he was wearing denim trousers and a white long-sleeved shirt when he landed on the road below.

His body was later covered with leaves by onlookers as a crowd formed, awaiting the arrival of emergency services.

Police officers were seen speaking to eyewitnesses at the scene, though no official statement has been released.
