Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus made a significant impact for West Ham United, scoring his first goal of the season in their emphatic 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town at the London Stadium.

This performance comes after a challenging week, marked by rumors of a reported confrontation with manager Julen Lopetegui.

Kudus, who had faced speculation regarding a potential dressing room clash that reportedly led to his substitution at halftime in a previous match against Brentford, was determined to silence his doubters.

Despite the rumors, club insiders denied any incident, and Kudus was named in the starting lineup against Ipswich.

The Ghanaian international made the most of his opportunity, scoring West Ham’s second goal with a close-range header, helping the team regain the lead after Liam Dela had equalized for Ipswich following Michail Antonio’s opener.

The Hammers continued to dominate in the second half, with Jarrod Bowen scoring early and Lucas Paquetá adding another to seal the victory.

With this goal, Kudus now has one goal in eight appearances this season. He will look to build on this performance as he joins the Black Stars for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan.

The first leg is set to take place on October 10 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the return match scheduled for **October 15** in Tripoli, Libya.
