Award winning Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Chinyere Okoro has revealed her father has two wives.

Ms Okoro made the revelation when she appeared on Nana Ama McBrown’s TV cookery show, “McBrown’s Kitchen”.

According to her, her father has ten children with the two wives, four of them - Yvonne, Roseline, Martin and Kenneth- are from the same mother.

She jokingly said her father who thought having one wife was not enough decided to add another woman, which was her mother.

Yvonne who also hosts her own TV cookery show, "Cooks and Braggarts" indicated that even though her father is married to two women, the children involved are very cool with each other with no family disputes which is evident with how she relates with her half sister, Elizabeth.

The 34 year old actress further disclosed that her mother who is a fante is a trader and enterprenuer and her father, an Ibo from Nigeria was a farmer and a real estate developer.
