The much anticipated Reign Album launch by under fire dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, was a massive success last night.

It was an exciting moment when a businessman and his wife shocked patrons at Shatta Wale’s album launch when they purchased the first copy of the album for ¢150,000.

The amount they offered was above the ¢100,000 asking price for the first copy of the ‘Reign’ album.

“…the reason why me Shatta Wale I dey fit buy house, I dey fit buy things on my own be say I dey move in this Ghana with humility and rest with some people wey today dey support me…”

Then he announced that he wants someone who loves and supports him to mount the stage to buy the album for ¢100,000.

Mr and Mrs Sleg, joined by musician Nana Boroo, walked on stage to declare their intentions of buying the first copy of the 17-track album.

Mr Sleg, who was interviewed on stage by comedian DKB, disclosed that he will pay more for the album.

“…I know the CD dey go for ¢100,000 right but Shatta Wale dey deserve more than ¢100,000 so me and my wife we wan give am ¢150,000,” he said amidst loud cheers from fans at the venue.

“Wale…Wale…Wale…,” Mr Sleg chanted.
