Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy has suffered a knee injury after falling from a staircase.

The incident according to Stonebwoy happened Thursday when he was leaving the studios after a rehearsal towards his upcoming shows in Canada.

The 'Go Higher' hitmaker has been compelled to end the show as a result of the pain.

Taking to his Instagram to address fans eager to see him perform, he said “it’s with a sad heart that I can’t be in Toronto and Edmonton.

“Everything was nice until after studio where I slipped on a staircase and hit my knee and you guys know I have prostheses in my right knee so I am in a lot of pain and have to seek medical attention.”

Speaking on his flight details, he said, “as I speak I am at the airport to New York then to Europe. Don’t listen to any negative vibe, the promoters did well and we will refund the tickets.”
