Sulley Muniru has dedicated his first ever goal for his Belarusian side FC Minsk to his later mother Hajia Kande who died in May his year after a short illness.

The former Kotoko midfielder scored his first goal on Friday July 2, when his side played out a 2-2 drawn game with Smorgon in the Belarusian Premier League.

Dmitry Aliseko opened the scores for Minsk in the first minute of the game before Benito Zardi Zoukou pulled parity for the away side Smorgon in the 42nd minute of the game.

On the stroke of half time Yan Senkevich put the away side in the lead as they headed into the break with a 2-1 lead.

The Ghanaian midfielder pulled parity for his side in the 72nd minute as he headed home a free kick to make it 2-2.

It was Sulley Muniru's 16th appearance for his Belarusian side as they drew the game 2-2.
