Ghanaian attacker Brandon Thomas-Asante played a key role in West Brom's game against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon. 

Brandon Thomas-Asante scored twice in West Brom's 4-1 victory against Blackburn Rovers. The 25-year-old started the game at the Hawthorns and lasted 77 minutes.

West Brom started the game very well preventing Blackburn Rovers from gaining control of the midfield.

The home side had more shots in the game and Blackburn Rovers took possession.

Tom Fellows scored early on, then Brandon Thomas-Asante and an own-goal extended the Baggies' lead to three goals before halftime.

Around the hour mark, Jake Garrett drew one back. Blackburn Rovers also forced goalkeeper Alex Palmer to make some saves in the second half. Brandon Thomas-Asante quickly secured his brace and the hosts' fourth in the 64th minute.

Thomas-Asante has made 25 appearances, scored nine goals, and assisted two in the Championship this season.

West Brom will play Norwich in their next league game.
