Young attacker with Ghanaian descent, Charles Sagoe Jr. scored for the Arsenal U-19 side in their match against Sevilla in the UEFA Youth League game on Tuesday.

The junior Arsenal side could not replicate what the main team did as they lost 2-1 to the Spanish side with Sagoe on target.

Sevilla took the lead with Alberto Collado's goal in the 12th minute, courtesy of an assist from Senegalese youngster Bakary Sow. Jose Antonio Lopez doubled their lead in the 38th minute.

The 19-year-old Sagoe Jr., born in London to Ghanaian parents, pulled one goal back for Arsenal in the 83rd minute of the game.

Sagoe Jr. made his first-team debut for Arsenal last month during their 1-0 victory over Brentford in the Carabao Cup.

This season, he has featured in five games for the Arsenal U21 team in the Premier League Two, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
