The miners defeated Kintampo Top Talent 4-2 in an entertaining game at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

AshGold had a topsy turvy run in the Ghana Premier League where they at times struggled but have taken the FA Cup by storm beating any side they have met.

The miners opened the scores through Frank Akoto before Isaac Opoku Agyemang added a second goal but Kwadwo Amoako pulled one back for the visitors with an own goal.

After the break the miners kept the visitors at arms length as Paul Asare DeVries added a third goal for AshGold in the 48th minute with Amos Addai also getting the fourth goal for AshGold in the 70th minute.

Deep into stoppage time Prince Kofi Sarkodie scored a consolation for Kintampo Top Talent to make it 4-2 in a game which the miners dominated.
