Bechem United have now gone three home matches without a win as they  were held at home in their matchday 28 clash against Hearts of Oak at the Nana Fosu Gyabour Park on Saturday afternoon.

The  league chasing hunters could only draw 1-1 with Accra Hearts of Oak in an entertaining clash.

Bechem United started the game very well but Hearts of Oak  repelled all that was thrown at by their host but the tables quickly turned.

Hearts should have been ahead on the 20th minute but Suraj Seidu who was left free unmarked in the box headed wide.

The home side also had their moment as the game swung like a  pendulum with teenager Clinton  Duodu sending a fierce drive inches wide of the  post.

Hearts of Oak thought they had a penalty  after Bechem United captain Agbesheme appeared to have fouled Suraj Seidu in the box but the referee waved away the vehement appeals from Hearts.

The host Bechem United quickly then took the lead through Emmanuel Owusu in the 31st minute from a quick thinking corner kick.

Hearts of Oak were then all over their host as they searched for the equalizer with Bechem United retreating into their half.

The phobians got what their persistence deserved as the impressive Suraj Seidu got the leveler for the reigning  champions .

He delicately chipped Bechem United goalie Iddrisu after a brilliant pass  from Frederick Ansah Botchway

Both sides went level at the  break but Hearts returned the stronger of the two sides as Salifu Ibrahim spurned a good opportunity.
Kwadwo Obeng Jnr was denied a goal by a double save by Bechem United  goalkeeper Abdulai Iddrisu before saving a late effort from Afriyie  Barnieh.
There was no  goal as both sides settled for a draw.
