Ghana's national football team notched a significant achievement by securing back-to-back wins under the leadership of coach Chris Hughton.

In a rain-soaked showdown at the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana emerged triumphant with a 3-1 victory over Liberia on Tuesday evening in an International friend

The first half of the match witnessed few noteworthy moments, with one notable chance falling to Antoine Semenyo, the Bournemouth striker.

Semenyo found himself in a prime position to score, receiving a clean pass almost from the center circle.

With only one Liberian defender giving chase, he entered the box but, to his dismay, sent the ball over the goal line for a goalkick instead of finding the net.

Seven minutes into the second half, Ernest Nuamah opened the scoring for Ghana, marking his second goal in two consecutive matches.

A long ball from Nicholas Opoku was elegantly controlled by Nuamah, who found the back of the net through the legs of the Liberian goalkeeper, with a slight deflection.

Ghana extended their lead to 2-0 courtesy of Kudus Mohammed, who capitalized on a well-executed team play.

Antoine Semenyo delivered a precise cross to the left flank, where Ernest Nuamah then provided the assist to Kudus, who calmly slotted home from approximately 16 yards out.

Jordan Ayew, who joined the action from the bench alongside his elder brother and team captain, secured the third goal for Ghana.

A well-placed cross from Medeama's Jonathan Sowah on the left flank eventually found its way to Jordan Ayew, who scored to make it 3-0.

Liberia managed to grab a consolation goal deep into stoppage time through David Teah, but it was not enough to alter the course of the match.

Ghana's victory signifies a positive step forward for the team under the guidance of Chris Hughton, as they continue to build momentum and strive for success in future fixtures.
