Accra Hearts of Oak shared the spoils with fierce city neighbours Accra Great Olympics in their Ghana Premier League match day 28 clash at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Ga Mantse derby lived up to the billing as both clubs produced some good quality football except their dismal finishing left a lot to be desired.

Isaac Mensah feebly shot into the arms of the Olympics goalie after a blunder from their defence while Gladson Awako's curled free kick was dropped by goalkeeper Richard Attah but he was not punished.

Maxwell Abbey Quaye thought he should have been awarded a penalty after he was upended in the penalty box but the referee thought otherwise.

Both sides went into the break with the scores blank but five minutes after restart Emmanuel Nettey hammered home a long range effort to give the phobians the lead.

Maxwell Abbey Quaye headed wide after a good chance but made amends later in the 72nd minute as he headed home a cross from the right side after Raddy Ovouka watched on helplessly.

In time added on Olympics should have stolen all three points after Abdul Manaf Mudasiru stole the ball from the toes of Hearts goalie Richard Attah and with the goal at his mercy contrived and missed the chance to clinch the winner for his side.
