Asante Kotoko beat their rivals Accra Hearts of Oak 1-0 in their Ghana Premier League Match Day 24 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Sunday.

Frank Mbella Etouga's 16th minute strike settled the scores at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

Hearts tried but they were unable to pull parity as Kotoko exacted revenge for their painful defeat in the President's Cup.

The win means Asante Kotoko are now eight points clear of second placed Bechem United whiles 16 points clear of Hearts of Oak.
