Ghana beat Chile on penalties to clinch 3rd place in the Kirin Cup after two crucial penalty saves from Adul-Manaf Nurudeen in the shoot out.
It was a much improved performance from the team than their earlier humiliating 4-1 defeat to host nation Japan.

Ghana started the game the better of the two sides as they dominated pla and created some half chances as Abdul Fatawu Issahaku sent some wild shots wide off the post.
Benjamin Tetteh hit the post with a vicious strike from outside the penalty box with the Chile goalkeeper beaten.
In the second half Benjamin Tetteh again hit the post with a header from a corner as his search for the breakthrough continued.
Andre Ayew sent a fierce shot goalwards but it was tipped wide by the Chile goalkeeper.
Ghana had Seidu Alidu sent off for a kick at a Chile player whiles Mubarak Wakaso received two yellow cards for his marching orders.
A nine man Ghana side nearly stole the win at the death but Kudus Mohammed's curler was saved by the Chile goalkeeper as the match headed to penalty shoot out.
Abdul Manaf was the hero as he saved two penalties from the Chileans as Ghana won the game.
After Chile scored their opening kick and Jordan Ayew levelled, Manaf Nurudeen saved back-to-back kicks from the Chileans before Gary Medel blasted his kick over the bar to give Ghana the victory.
After Jordan Ayew levelled for Ghana, Nurudeen saved from Tomas Alarcon and Ben Brereton Diaz, while Kudus Mohammed and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku both scored for Ghana.
