In the dying moments of the game against Kotoko, Nations FC was awarded a penalty, which Amidou Diarra confidently converted, ultimately resulting in a thrilling 2-2 draw.

According to some Kotoko supporters the penalty decision was contentious as their side had to draw level against Nations FC during their recent match at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in Abrankese on Sunday.

The game was delayed after the referee pointed to the spot in the dying embers when Kotoko goalie Danlad Ibrahim failed to gather a cross.

The appeared to have struck the hands of two different Kotoko players with one of them the ball deflecting off his thigh before his hand.

Kotoko supporters were agitated and wanted to end the game as it was delayed for more than ten minutes before it restarted.

Our readers can judge for themselves whether that was a handle and a penalty or not.
