CEO of Burniton Music Group, Livingstone Etse Satekla, artistically known as Stonebwoy, is asking why the President Nana Akufo-Addo, has refused to speak about the issue with Menzgold since it became a topical one.

The Ghanaian afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste told JoyNews in an interview that; the President has spoken about a couple of issues that has national interest, citing Ahmed Hussein Suale's murder as an example but according to him, nothing has been heard from him [Akufo-Addo] about the issue with Menzgold.

The award winning artiste however opined that; Nana Addo has perhaps not spoken about the matter because “it is a bigger one”.

Stonebwoy, who was once a brand ambassador to the embattled gold trading firm admitted the situation is bigger than he could handle.

“Have we ask ourselves why our father, the president hasn't been able to come speak about that yet? That alone should tell us that it is a bigger issue more than me Stonebwoy”, he said.

Quizzed about whether or not his brand is affected since he openly endorsed Menzgold, the Ashaiman based artiste said “my brand is clean and not dainted at all in anyway”.

Stonebwoy joined highlife musician Kumi Guitar and singer Becca, who were earlier signed by the media and entertainment outfit, Zylofon Media.
