Former Ghana youth star Yaw Yeboah was in good form over the weekend for his Major League Soccer side Columbus Crew on his debut on Saturday.

The Crew defeated Vancouver Whitecaps by 4-0 and the Ghanaian midfielder was on hand in providing one of the assists for the goals.

Columbus Crew started the game on the front foot and soon opened the scores in the 8th minute through Miguel Berry before Derrick Etienne added the second.

But Yaw Yeboah had a huge hand in the second goal as he whipped a cross field pass from the right flank to the left before Etienne slotted home to make it 2-0.

Luiz Diaz added the third goal for the host in the 84th minute of the game before Lucas Zelarayan added the fourth goal in the 86th minute.

Compatriot Jonathan Mensah was in the starting line up as he captained the team to a huge 4-0 win in their league opener.
