Ghanaians were treated to a delightful experience on New Year’s day when UTV, a private television station featured popular Ghanaian entertainers Akrobeto and Funny Face.

The two were tasked with the job of reading the news for the day, in place of the regular anchors, and as expected, gave viewers several reasons to laugh.

Among the topical issues they sought to relay to viewers were matters of confusion that rocked the special voting in the 2016 elections, the presence of ECOWAS Election Observers in Ghana and the declaration of Nana Akufo-Addo as president – elect.

The hour – long presentation by the two ‘anchors’ generated so many moments of laughter as they treated viewers to lots of rib-tickling moments.

Akrobeto, at a point mimicked president Akufo-Addo’s victory to perfection, and it was no surprise as hi co-anchor, Funny Face, fell off his seat as he could not help but laugh in admiration of his colleagues efforts.
