Ashantigold have sounded a note of caution to teams who are looking forward to clinching the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League title.

The miners who represented Ghana in the Confederations Cup before they were eliminated at the knock out phase are primed for the league title as they step up preparations for the competition they have won three times in their history.

Brazilian trainer of the side Ricardo Da Rocha has warned other competitors that they are coming with all their arsenals with the view to winning the league title.

The miners will begin their league season with a home game with newly promoted side Accra Great Olympics at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

"There is no problem in camp all the players are serious and everything is working nicely.We have the old players and new players.

"We are fully prepared to win the league title this year" he Brazilian trainer told TV3 in an interview at the club's training grounds.

Ashgold will play Great Olympics in the league's opening game before playing a regional derby in Kumasi against another newly promoted side King Faisal.
