Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side is fully prepared to battle for all three points in their Ghana Premier League clash against Bechem United.

‎Speaking ahead of the Week 28 fixture, Tanko acknowledged the challenge posed by Bechem United but expressed confidence in his team’s readiness following a productive week of training.

‎“We are going there to really fight for the points,” he said. “We have to defend as a unit. I don’t have a problem when we have the ball, but without the ball, we have to really defend as a unit and try to close the gaps.”

‎The Medeama coach stressed that defensive discipline will be key to securing a positive result away from home, insisting his players have been drilled to cope with different match situations.

‎“We have to be able to stop them. I think we are ready for that. Looking at the training we did this weekend, we have prepared for every situation,” he told Medi TV.

‎The Yellow and Mauves will be aiming to return to Tarkwa with maximum points as they seek to strengthen their position in the league standings.

‎The match is scheduled to take place at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday, 4 April, with kick-off set for 15:00 GMT.
