Spokesperson for the normalization committee who also doubles as the media officer for the Black Stars, Dan Kwaku Yeboah  has rubbished claims that Ghana went to the African cup of nations tournament with a mediocre squad.

The Black Stars were kicked out of the nations cup at the round of 16 after losing 5-4 on penalties to Tunisia.

Since then, the inquest has started with some pundits and Ghanaians alike calling for the head of the coach Kwasi Appiah.

Others have also blamed the team’s ill luck and poor form on their alleged escapades with women in camp.

But the general talk in town is that most of the players are not cut for the Black Stars since their quality is substandard.

The ace broadcaster has waded into this raging debate about quality insisting we paraded the best materials around.

“It’s difficult this time If you cast your eyes around because we don’t have any Abedi Pele hiding anywhere we didn’t send to this tournament .These are all we have around unless maybe some of these Ghanaian players born abroad we were luring to play for us.

Ghana as a country we sent about 80% of our quality players we have around and we don’t have some hiding anywhere else”he stressed.
