Owner and President of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Nana Ameyaw says that clubs in Ghana must get a lot of government supports since they feed all our national teams with players.

Various national teams in Ghana rely on players produced by clubs at their own cost to survive and he thinks the government must therefore do more to support the clubs financially but he is thankful for the monies given them by government to help them prepare for the 2019/2020 league.

"Half a loaf is better than nothing. And we are asking for more from the government but we are thankful though."

"But we must realize that government benefit enormously from us because it’s our various teams who provide players for the Black Stars and other national teams." he told Kumasi based Akoma Fm.

He posits that players who are developed and trained by the clubs are called up into the national teams and so they deserve more.

"They are not trained by government but it’s us the clubs who trained the players to be used by the state so there is nothing wrong If the state comes to our aid." he added.
