Medeama SC faced their first defeat of the season, losing 2-0 to Bechem United on Sunday.

The Mauve and Yellow struggled to find their footing, conceding an early goal just five minutes in, with Dalvin Yeboah scoring the opener.

Emmanuel Abban extended Bechem's lead in the 43rd minute. This loss leaves Medeama without a win in their last three matches, while Bechem United climbed to ninth in the table.

In another match, Gold Stars maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw against Nations FC.

The home team, playing at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, took the lead through Faisal Chawetey in the 34th minute.

However, Kelvin Oppong equalized for Gold Stars with just nine minutes remaining, securing a valuable point on the road.

With this result, Gold Stars remain at the top of the table with 12 points, while Nations FC sits fifth after six matches.

Aduana FC finally celebrated their first victory of the season with a 2-0 win over Dreams FC.

Both goals came in the second half, with Emmanuel Marfo netting the first in the 47th minute and Abubakar Adams sealing the win in the 89th minute.

This victory lifted Aduana FC to 13th place in the standings, while Dreams FC remains winless and is positioned precariously at 17th.

Basake Holy Stars also enjoyed success this weekend, edging Karela United 1-0 at home. Prince Opoku scored the decisive goal in the 77th minute at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.

Holy Stars now sit in 12th place with seven points, just above Karela United, who are in 14th with five points.
