There are always some workout tools and machines in the gym that look very interesting and different. One such gym tool is a bosu ball. If you haven't used it yet, you surely would have seen fitness enthusiasts sharing their videos working out with it.
If you have ignored working out with the bosu balls, which is chopped in half and attached to a flat base, mind you, you are making a mistake. Trainers strongly advise including bosu balls to your workout routine because apparently, these are the new stability building best friend. What exactly is a bosu ball?A bosu ball is a piece of fitness equipment you will find in most gyms. It is used to build strength and balance. It can be used with many simple exercises to make them more effective and challenging.
The bosu ball is all about strength training, which is essential in a robust workout routine. Stability, as we all know, is a very important part of a strong and healthy body. Working out on an unstable surface is effective by recruiting more muscles. In a regular workout routine, we usually focus on the bigger muscles and ignore the smaller ones. Balancing works on those muscles that often get ignored. Adding instability to your workout feels incredibly challenging but it’s worth it.

The 3 move bosu ball workout

1. Bosu ball burpeeThis involves holding the bosu ball by the handles with the ball side down. Adding this takes your burpee to the next level by adding weight and instability. This challenges your whole body.

2. Bosu ball squatBosu ball squat can be quite difficult to perform so master it before you try to overdo it. Place the ball such that the dome side is facing the floor. Now stand on it, balance yourself and start with your squats. Performing bosu squat uses more muscles than a regular squat.

3. Up and overUp and over is a bosu ball move. Place the ball with the dome side facing up. Now place one foot on the top of the Bosu and squat, then hop up and over, replacing the other foot on the Bosu and landing in a squat. This will spike your heart rate in a matter of a few seconds.
