Accra Hearts of Oak will open their season against Ashantigold at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday in the Ghana Premier League.

The phobians were due to play against Aduana Stars in the league's opening game but that game was rescheduled due to coronavirus concerns with the phobians.

Ashantigold on the on the other hand drew 2-2 on the opening weekend of the game against Karela United and will be looking forward to bounce back.

Communication Director of Ashantigold, Eric Karikari says they have the wherewithal to beat the phobians when they travel to the capital on Tuesday.

After getting the all clear from the Ghana Health Service, the phobians will host the miners on Tuesday in a crunch fixture.

“We are not afraid of Hearts of Oak, we believe that it will be a very tough game but we are going for all the three points at stake at their own backyard” he told Koforidua based Bryt FM.

“We drew in our opening day fixture against Karela United but we have put the result aside and focusing on our next game which is Hearst” he said.
