West Ham have reportedly rejected a bumper bid from Chelsea that involves two Chelsea players plus cash for Mohammed kudus. Chelsea were willing to offer the likes of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez and midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in exchange for the Ghanaian international but it seems the deal has rather fallen through as the Hammers have shown dissatisfaction in the deal.
After Chelsea have snapped up a novel number 9 in the person of English 22 year old Liam Delap, they will be looking to bolster their attacking prowess and they deem Mohammed Kudus to be a right option, having lost out on extending the stay of Manchester United's Jadon Sancho who had an incredible campaign with the Blues during his short stint on loan at the London club. Chelsea could not agree on personal terms with the English international which resulted in the winger leaving after scoring in the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League final to clinch the title for Chelsea at the expense of Real Betis. Also, Chelsea will be looking to offload Mykhailo Mudryk after a rather disappointing spell since joining in 2023.
Mohammed Kudus,24, has already rejected deals from the Middle East amid interests from the Saudi Pro League clubs, with Al Nassr coming in with a lucrative £85M swoop in early April as he looks to continue in Europe, preferably the Premier League. Kudus managed four goals and five assists for West Ham in 2024/25 and has 19 goals and ten assists overall in 80 games for the Hammers.
West Ham on the other hand, rejected the deal with the inclusion of Robert Sanchez because initial talks are already held with Southampton's Aaron Ramsdale after veteran Lucasz Fabianski departed.
