West Ham defender Emerson Palmieri has lauded teammate Mohammed Kudus, praising the Ghanaian's exceptional strength and agility.
Palmieri, who joined the Hammers in 2022, spoke highly of Kudus on the club's Iron Cast Podcast, describing him as one of the strongest players he's faced in training.
"Ahhh, he’s so strong," Palmieri said. "Sometimes I train against him, and when I try to tackle him, I feel it in my leg. He protects the ball so well and is incredibly explosive in the first 10 meters.
When he goes one-on-one against me, I just think, ‘Someone help me.’"
The admiration comes despite Kudus’ recent suspension following a red card in West Ham's 4-1 defeat to Tottenham in October.
The Ghanaian midfielder, who joined the club in 2023, has been instrumental to West Ham's campaign, with his absence keenly felt.
Manager Julen Lopetegui has expressed eagerness to see Kudus back in action, with the team struggling to replicate their earlier form in his absence.
The midfielder is set to return on December 3rd, when West Ham faces Leicester City.
Fans and teammates alike are looking forward to Kudus’ comeback, anticipating his dynamic contributions to the Hammers' push for success this season.
