Ghanaian player Kwadwo Asamoah has virtually descended into oblivion at his club side Inter Milan with the player hardly seen on the pitch nowadays for his club side.

What went wrong for a player who worked under former Juventus boss Antonio Conte and is highly regarded by the the Italian trainer.

It's obvious injuries have played a part in decimating the Inter Milan career of the versatile Ghanaian who could slot in defence or in midfield.

Kwadwo Asamoah has become the mysterious object of Conte's Inter.

The Ghanaian has always been a pupil of Conte since Juventus and it was thought that with the arrival of the coach from Salento on the Nerazzurri bench, the ex Juve player will be afforded more opportunities.

The last important performance from the Ghanaian dates back to 29 October against Brescia.

In that game Asamoah  played 81 minutes.

After a few knee aches, he returned to the field for just 18 minutes against Roma on December 6th last year and has not been seen again on the football field.

There is still no date for his return and the prolonged absence also suggests that the player is gradually eroding off the radar of Antonio Conte, no wonder there are reports that he is in the market for a left sided defender.
