The Black Stars B will begin the defense of the Wafu title they won at the Cape Coast Stadium some two years ago under same coach Maxwell Konadu against the Gambia.

Coach Maxwell Konadu has assembled the best around on the local scene with ten players leaving the shores of Ghana for Senegal Dakar on Sunday.

The ten have been joined by the combined 11 players from Ashgold and Kotoko who participated in African club competitions over the weekend.

The Kotoko  contingent arrived in camp last night and have joined the rest of the squad for training this morning but it remains to be seen whether coach Maxwell Konadu will field any of them for this evenings clash with the Gambia.

"Our game plan and the style of players we have. we have to work around that.You see when you have certain players and you play the system that will suit their style of play you can achieve results.

"Our strength is to keep the ball to ourselves when we do that no team can out wit us"he said
