With the onset of the festive period comes hikes in the prices of food stuff especially the essential Christmas goodies.

A visit to most markets across the Greater Accra Region show that majority of Christmas dinner essentials and other food stuff including poultry, rice, oil, confectionary among others increased to about 30 percent a few days to the holidays.

who visited various markets in the capital city Accra reports that it will cost a family of four at least 600 hundred cedis to buy food stuff to cook a full meal of (Goat meat tomato stew and rice )with dessert (Danish cookies medium size and coke) on Christmas day.

So how much are you likely to pay for some essential Christmas foodstuff across markets in Accra during the festive period.
