Former Ashgold SC forward, Yaw Annor, has made his mark in the Egyptian Premier League, opening his goalscoring account for Ismaily SC in a match against Al Ittihad Alexandria.

In a Thursday night football spectacle, Yaw Annor secured his first Egyptian Premier League goal, helping Ismaily SC to a 3-1 victory over Al Ittihad.

Annor, a 25-year-old forward who recently switched his international allegiance to Togo through his maternal lineage, showcased his talent with a superb finish that put the Mango Boys ahead in the 51st minute of the fiercely contested league clash at the Ismailia Sports Stadium.

Joining him on the field were his compatriots Moro Salifu and Benjamin Boateng, who represented Al Ittihad. Unfortunately for them, they left the stadium with their heads bowed low as Ismaily secured the win.

Yaw Annor now sets his sights on adding more goals to his tally when Ismaily SC travels to the Borg El Arab Stadium for a crucial match against Marcel Koller's Al Ahly on Sunday, October 8.

His impressive start in the Egyptian elite division bodes well for his future contributions to the Mango Boys.
