Reggae artiste and radio presenter, Abubakar Ahmed popularly called ‘Blakk Rasta’ has stated that the move by the Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency Kennedy Agyapong to release photos of ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas was wrong.

He said Anas should be praised rather than condemned for risking his life to uncover corruption related cases in the country.

The lawmaker had vowed to unmask the investigative journalist following his video on corruption in Ghanaian football.

He had described Anas as a fraudster who has been extorting money from people all in the name of investigative pieces.

But speaking on his show, Blakk Rasta suggested to Anas to continue his good works.

He further advised Kennedy Agyapong to stop haunting Anas and allow him do his work which is in the interest of the nation.

‘All I can see is a lot of respect for a young man who has laid is life…in some cases he got arrested, in some cases he swallowed dangerous chemicals in order to look authentic and investigations.

‘Whether they are the true photographs of Anas Aremeyaw Anas or not, I won’t say. I don’t think that you are serving the same anti-corruption campaign that you are doing. I don’t think you are serving the people of Ghana any good.

‘I also congratulate Honorable Kennedy Agyapong but this time around, no sir you are in it alone. I am not joining it alone. Anas Aremeyaw Anas may you continue to rise and do things’.
