Artiste and Repertoire manager at Zylofon Music, Bulldog, has finally spoken about the troubles facing Menzgold following his long silence.

Bulldog has been one of the staunch defenders of Nana Appiah Mensah since the Menzgold CEO encountered problems with some state institutions over the legality of his company’s operations.

And the artiste manager insists he still stands behind his boss despite a warrant being issued on Wednesday for his arrest.

According to him, NAM 1 is not at fault at all, adding that it is the government that dealt with the issue in a shambolic manner.

In his view, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bank of Ghana (BoG) had no authority to interfere in the operations of Menzgold since the company was legally registered.

He said the government, by its press release on the matter, has shown that it does not know what it’s about.

It will be remembered that last November, Bulldog slammed President Akufo-Addo for presiding over a “failed state”.

He went on to say that the embattled NAM 1 could give the government a loan of $50 billion which it was seeking from China at the time.

Meanwhile, the CEO of Menzgold has been declared wanted after an Accra Circuit Court issued a warrant for his arrest.

The warrant was issued on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 on charges of defrauding by false pretence and money laundering.
