The NDC's Zenator Rawlings has retained her Parliamentary seat for the Korle Klottey Constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

She beat off competition from the New Patriotic Party's candidate Prince Appiah Debrah who was the nearest challenger.

Zenator Rawlings polled 9,343 out of the total valid vote cast of 70,687 while the NPP's Prince Appiah Debrah polled 31,154 votes.

The LPG's parliamentary candidate also polled 190 votes.

Meanwhile the NDC also won the Presidential elections in the area with 37,189 votes while the NPP had 33,126 votes.

All the other political parties GUM, CPP, GFP GCPP and APC polled 350, 61, 24, 16 and 10 votes respectively.

Whiles the rest of them that is LPG had  17 votes, PNC had 14 votes,with PPP getting 43 votes, the NDP also had 21 votes with the Independent candidate getting 11 votes.

The total valid votes cast was 70,882 and with rejected ballots 776.
