Zambian giants Zesco United have completed the signing of Ghanaian forward Elvis Bernard Addae on a two-and-a-half-year contract, strengthening their attacking options ahead of the second half of the season.

The move brings an end to weeks of uncertainty over Addae’s future, after his representatives explored options during the January transfer window. Among the clubs approached was Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko, but negotiations failed to progress and no deal was reached.

Zesco United moved swiftly to secure the forward’s signature, handing him a contract that underlines their confidence in his potential and long-term value to the club. The Ndola-based side, regular contenders in continental competitions, are expected to lean on Addae’s pace and direct style as they chase domestic and regional success.

For the Ghanaian attacker, the transfer offers a fresh start and an opportunity to make his mark outside his home country. It also continues the growing trend of Ghanaian players seeking new challenges across the African continent.

Addae is expected to join up with his new teammates immediately as Zesco United prepare for the next phase of their campaign.
