In a dramatic Serie A encounter at the Maradona Stadium, Japanese-Ghanaian goalkeeper Zion Suzuki was shown a red card as Parma succumbed to a 2-1 defeat against Napoli on Saturday night.

Suzuki, who joined Parma from Belgian side St. Truiden this summer, was dismissed in the 75th minute for a dangerous tackle on Napoli's David Neres.

The 22-year-old's red card proved pivotal, as Parma, who had been leading 1-0 thanks to a penalty converted by Ange-Yoan Bonny in the 19th minute, struggled to maintain their advantage.

The dismissal forced Parma to make an unusual adjustment, with defender Enrico Del Prato stepping in as the makeshift goalkeeper due to a lack of available substitutions.

Napoli capitalized on their numerical advantage, with Romelu Lukaku equalizing in stoppage time. Lukaku's goal, a low shot set up by Leonardo Spinazzola, brought the score to 1-1.

The home team completed their comeback in the 96th minute when Zambo Anguissa headed in the decisive goal, sealing a dramatic victory and sending the Maradona Stadium into jubilation.
