Zylofon media has resumed operations under the supervision of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO).

This comes after the anti-graft office granted a working permit to allow Zylofon media return continue with it operations.

Communication Manager of Zylofon Media, Samuel Atuobi Baah, popularly known as Sammy Flex disclosed this in an interview.

EOCO in January 2019 directed all subsidiaries under Zylofon Media to suspended operations following the issuance of a warrant for the arrest of the Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1), who also owns Zylofon Media.

Speaking in an interview on ClassFM Sammy Flex said: “It was the fact; they [EOCO] wanted some dominance or they wanted some control over some properties of Nana Appiah Mensah, discussions have gone on behind the scene they know what belongs to Nana Appiah Mensah and what does not belong to Nana Appiah Mensah”.

He also explained that Zylofon Media is still under EOCO despite the working permit that has been granted.

“They [EOCO] are still going to be the keepers of these properties until all is solved, so, what it means is that things can go on everything that was going on can go on and they are still following our activities”, he stated.
