Ghana Premier League side King Faisal has Serbian gaffer Branko Brozovic as their current head coach but that may soon change as the club is reportedly close to appointing Ernest Thompson Quartey.

The Serbian gaffer guided the club to safety last season after the unceremonious departure Nurudeen Amadu as King Faisal placed 14th on the league table.

A final day triumph over Legon Cities preserved the Premier League status of King Faisal last season despite a  fine start.

According to Otec FM, the former Ebusua Dwarfs, Ashgold coach has agreed to take over the reins at the Kumasi-based club.

Reports are that the club is still in talks with the former Ebusua Dwarfs coach about taking over the coaching job.

King Faisal lost their opening game this season as they were handed a 2-0 defeat by Berekum Chelsea at Dormaa on Monday.

They will host Aduana Stars in their next league fixture on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
