Inaki Williams scores to give Athletic Bilbao last home win of the season
Ghana forward Iñaki Williams made a scoring return for Athletic Club in their final home match of the La Liga season against Joseph Aidoo’s RC Celta de Vigo.
Williams, who recently returned to action, found the back of the net to help Athletic Club finish their home campaign on a positive note in front of their supporters at San Mamés.
The goal adds to an encouraging season for the Black Stars attacker, who has now registered three goals and four assists in La Liga this term despite facing injury setbacks during parts of the campaign.
His return and immediate impact will come as welcome news for both Athletic Club and Ghanaian football fans ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
The match also featured fellow Ghanaian international Joseph Aidoo, who continues his comeback journey with Celta after a lengthy injury layoff.
