Baba Rahman excels in wing back role for German giants Schalke 04
Ghana and Schalke 04 defender Baba Rahman was deployed in the modern day wing back role and the on-loan Chelsea defender was one of the positive talking points after the 1-0 defeat to Bayern Leverkusen on Sunday.
Rahman has played in 12 Bundesliga games so far and was restored to the starting eleven for the first time in three weeks and did not disappoint.
The on-loan Chelsea man is having a straight fight for the left back position with impressive Bosnian Sead Kolasinac in what has been a great headache to boss Markus Weinzerl.
The Ghana international has however has found another route into the team after giving an impressive account as a wing back.
German international Stefan Kiessling scored the only goal of the game to give Bayern Leverkusen victory but mighty German website Bild rated Baba Rahman as one of the best performers at the Veltins Arena.
