Bechem United have been dealt a huge blow as their star striker Hafiz Wutah Konkoni has sustained a serious injury.

This happened in their 1-0 loss to Accra Hearts of Oak in their Ghana Premier League match day 24 clash at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Wednesday.

He has sustained a serious fracture to his left arm which will see him out of action for between 6-7 weeks meaning his season could be over.

During the first half of their 1-0 loss to Hearts of Oak the striker clashed with a Hearts of Oak player towards the end of the first half and landing awkwardly breaking his arm.

He was immediately rushed to the St. John of God Hospital-Duayaw Nkwanta where they specialize in the treatment of fracture and bone disorders.

His hands have been put in a cast and has been discharged to continue his rehabilitation.
