The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Patrice Milazar from Mauritius as the referee for the 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between Ghana and Sudan.

Milazar, 38, will lead the officiating team for the crucial Group F encounter.

He will be supported by Souru Phatsoane from Lesotho as Assistant Referee I, Jean Marc Jeff Pithia from Mauritius as Assistant Referee II, and Ganesh Chutooree, also from Mauritius, who will serve as the Fourth Official.

Additionally, Sekou Wieh Konneh from Liberia has been appointed as the Match Commissioner, with Bechir Hassani from Tunisia serving as the Referee Assessor.

Okey Sylvanus Sylvanus Obi from Nigeria will oversee security as the Security Officer.

The match is set to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 16:00 GMT.

This Matchday 3 fixture will be pivotal for both teams in their quest for a spot in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
